썬더버드에서 메일을 받다보면 winmail.dat라는 첨부파일이 있는 경우를 볼 수 있다. 처음에는 바이러스인가 싶었는데 자세히 찾아보니 아웃룩에서 보낼때 발생하는 문제이다. 아웃룩에서 자기만의 표준을 이용해서 보내는 데 이를 일반 어플리케이션에서 처리를 하지 못하니 발생하는 문제이다. 어떻게 해결할지 좀 찾아보니 addon으로 LookOut 1.2.1 이라는 녀석이 있어서 이걸 이용해도 될 듯 하고 아니면 독립적인 프로그램으로 winmail opener라는 프로그램이 있어서 이를 이용하면 될 듯 하다.

[끄적거린수필]
이제 대학원에 입학한 지 2달이 지났는데 이제서야 새로운 보금자리를 찾게 되었다. 랩에 들어오니 뭔가 기분도 나는 것 같고, 새로운 컴퓨터 받으니깐 기분도 좋고^^ 코딩 안 한지도 너무 오래됐고, 컴퓨터 관련 트렌드도 그냥 놓고 있었고, 몇달 동안은 별 생각없이 지내온 듯 하다. 이제 또 새롭게 시작을 해봐야할 듯 하다.
